When My Wine Runs Out

When my wine runs out,
Jesus, I know you're there.
I can call your name,
Because you always care.

When my wine runs out,
In the middle of my feasting,
I can call you, Jesus,
And trust in your saving.

When my wine runs out,
I'll call you, Jesus!
When I'm helpless,
I'll choose to hold and trust.

When my wine runs out,
I still believe in You.
All water can be good wine,
You make miracles come true.

When good wine becomes scarce in your life, don’t hate the plain water that’s there. God can turn water into good wine. He can turn every situation into something favorable and good.

When Jesus, his mother, and the disciples were at the wedding in Cana, the wine ran out and His mother called Jesus to provide the wine (John 2). As the story unfolded, Jesus told the servants to fill the water pots with water. Then, the servants did as they were told and each pot was filled with water to the brim. And when the ruler tasted the water from the pot, it tasted of good wine (John 2:7-10).

God’s blessing can come in unexpected ways. God can make miracles out of ordinary situation.

An important thing to note in the story is that the miracle won’t happen if Mary did not call on Jesus for help. She trusted Jesus to do a miracle. If we have a need, we need to call on Jesus and trust in His hand of salvation.

The Bible says that when we trust in God, He makes our face radiant.

“They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.”
