God’s Wisdom and Grace Abound

Pause for a while and try to imagine the heavens and the highest heavens. How far can you imagine? Not that far, right? To be truthful, our imagination is limited by how much pictures and movies we have seen of heavens. Yet, the ways and thoughts of God are as high as the heavens, which our limited mind could not even imagine. Because His ways are higher than our ways and his thoughts are far above us, He offers us these.

He gives compassion to the wicked and unrighteous. Our thoughts determine our ways. Unrighteous thoughts breed unrighteous ways. God’s encouragement is this. Let us seek Him while He may still be found (Isaiah 55:6). By seeking God, we do two things. We forsake our wicked ways. And we forsake our unnrighteous thoughts. These two can be summed up as REPENTANCE. The Greek term for repentance is “metanoia” which basically means “CHANGE OF MIND”. We forsake unrighteous thoughts and change our mind into the things that belong to God and His righteousness. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”– Romans 12:2. If we find it difficult to repent, then the problem is in the mind. Change the mind and the thoughts. How? FEED it with things that pleases God. (Example, cautiousness in choice of music, books to read, news to watch, movies to see,and even in social media; Read the Word hungrily and feed on it daily; be sober or be conscious of what you think of yourself and of others.).

He abundantly pardons. When we repent, He pardons COMPLETELY and with an OVERFLOW of grace! That is why His ways and thoughts are so UNLIKE our ways, because God, through Jesus Christ’s work on the cross, can pardon us completely, giving us new life, new mind, and new ways! This is a picture of complete pardon: “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”– 2 Corinthians 5:21. WE ARE DECLARED RIGHTEOUS because of Jesus Christ. That means we are completely forgiven, completely set free by any guilt and any sin from before and upto the future. The pardon is complete!

Walk in victory today over sin and over struggles by depending on the abundant grace of Jesus. That same God who put all of your sins in Jesus Christ, made you righteous through Jesus, and pardoned you completely, is the same God who will save you today from any troubles, and will save you, your family, your love ones too. Stand firm and rest in the grace of Jesus!
