Thank You, God!

Why is it easier to complain than to be thankful? Why is it easier to grumble than to be grateful? Sometimes, we are drawn more to the negativities happening around us than to the blessings that God daily gives us.

Believers should be magnets for praises and thanksgiving, and not magnets for negativities. Our minds should be geared toward the goodness and faithfulness of God in every circumstance of our lives.

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

May we find a reason to praise God and thank Him for His goodness every day. May we thank God with our whole heart and acknowledge that all things come from Him and He is in control.

I will give you thanks with my whole heart. Before the gods, I will sing praises to you. I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your Name for your loving kindness and for your truth; for you have exalted your Name and your Word above all. In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul.

Praise the Lord! Praise His name! Thank you, Lord! You are always faithful.
