Don’t Stop Praying

Don't stop praying
When life seems uphill
Say what's in your heart
And seek God and His will.

Don't stop praying, When happy times come around.
Give God your praises,
And make a joyful sound.

Don't stop praying,
When you can't see what's coming.
Trust God in His wisdom,
And His miraculous working.

Don't stop praying,
When all is good and happy,
It is God who gives all things,
And He made us for His glory.

What a reminder from the Word of God that we should not stop praying. In all circumstances, good or bad, we are to continue praying for ourselves and for one another.

The power and weapon of believers is prayer. We are commanded to seek God and His kingdom first, and we can do that by praying to God always. When we pray we come to the presence of God, commune with Him, and seek His guidance and direction for us. When we pray, we entrust our day-to-day affairs to the One who is wiser and in sovereign control. Prayer is a connection to God that should never be missed by believers.

Let us enjoy praying to God, be on fire for it, and love it more. There is no need for special occasions to pray. There is no need to find big reasons to pray. Just pray.

So let us pray every day in every season of our lives. Let us entrust all our cares, our plans, and our works to God. If we need healing, let us pray. If we need provisions, let us pray. If we need promotion, let us pray. If we need guidance, let us pray. If we need help, let us pray. If we need peace, let us pray. If we need salvation, let us pray. Let us pray because God knows more than we do. His understanding is beyond our reason and His love is far above we can imagine. Let us pray because God works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
