Light (A Poem)

Void.
The relentless pull
Of darkness
Of meaningless
Paths of life.

Cold.
The firm icy grip
Of emotionless
Of impassiveness
Feel of life.

Dark.
The call of blurry road
Of unseen cliff
Of crevice steep
Valleys of life.

Shadow.
The whisper of prayer
Of cries within
Of wanting to win
Voices of life.

Light.
The answer to prayer
Of good days
Of Jesus’ grace
Hope of life.
