Pure Enjoyment

The smell of coffee brewing,

Awakens me to excitement.

Of warm coffee cups sitting,

And promises of wonderment.

Sweet cookies crumbling,

And macaroons of adornment,

On plates that are inviting,

To indulge in its taste and scent!

A book can add for thrilling,

As I sit to read; feeling content.

Hot coffee on the side, sipping,

Ah, yes! This is pure enjoyment!
