Dependence on man brings disappointment. It is not inevitable for us to be disappointed when we trust people. We put some expectation. Sometimes, we are just disappointed. This is actually a normal thing. It is natural. After all, we also get disappointed with ourselves, sometimes. It is because we are not perfect. Imperfection means that somehow we are bound to make an error because we are limited in our knowledge. That is why giving our foremost trust and dependence to man is futility. To expect people to bring us utmost comfort, security, and success, or even to expect our own self to do that would lead us to disappointment.
Dependence on God is the wisest decision to make. It is not just good to decide to depend on God. It is the best thing to do. It is the wisest decision to make. Those who depend on God are called blessed because they live a blessed life! Listen to the voice of God ringing in this verse, “Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD. He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” – Jeremiah 17:5-8. He who depends on God and trust in Him, there shall be abundance, shelter, security, provision, and goodness in his dwelling. Indeed, our God is our help and our shield when we depend on Him.

Very True! Adam and Eve trusted in someone other than God and brought spiritual death and physical death on Adam’s descendants. Natural Man cannot be trusted because he is spiritually dead and unable to discern spiritual things 1 Corinthians 2:14.. Natural Man’s wisdom is foolishness to God 1 Corinthians 1:21… Only God is good Luke 18:19… therefore only the Holy Spirit is goo

Very well explained.. thank you.
Yes, our natural self is spirtitually dead and our wisdom is foolishness to God. I do love that verse in 1 Corinthians 1:21. It always reminds me that man has nothing to brag about even the smartest and the most learned. We all need the wisdom of God.🙏🏻

True words of wisdom and reality. We all have to always depend on Him. He knows best and once we surrender there is nothing to look back too.

Dependence on Him is truly the wisest decision we can ever make. He alone is the unlimited one. 🙌

Amen, having the desire to depend on God practically is a God-honoring desire and He will provide you ways to do so. Your desire is to glorify Him, and that desire itself honors God.

Many forgot to call on God during the pandemic & instead relied on man’s promise of deliverance. Thus where we are now ( U.S.), no. 1 in COVID numbers and death.

Yes. It is Him that we should call first.
Thank you. And keep safe.

1 Corinthians 2:14 and be trusted since only God is good ..Luke18:19 in other words… The Holy Spirit… then how could you get anything but worldly wisdom in trusting natural man? 1 Corinthians 1:21… I wish I would have that a lot sooner

So true! God is always faithful. Even in some of the darkest moments of my life, He was there making a path through the wilderness, drawing me closer to Him. Continually, reassuring me of His love and protection.

I do enjoy the manner in which you have framed this matter and it does indeed give me some fodder for thought. Nevertheless, through just what I have experienced, I really wish when the actual commentary pack on that people today stay on issue and not get started upon a tirade of some other news of the day. Still, thank you for this exceptional piece and whilst I can not agree with the idea in totality, I respect your perspective.
