Love Beyond

There is hope for the human race

If we see and treat others with the heart

To take a moment to care, to replace

The hatred around that set us apart.

Yes we differ in so many ways

We grow together, we grow apart,

If we see past the color and place,

Accept others; let down our guard.

Show hospitality and a friendly face

Take others in like they’re our ward.

Show them mercy; show them grace,

Refrain from being critical or too hard,

For beneath the flesh and every face

There are wounds so heavy like a lard,

So step on other’s shoe without grimace,

Be brave to look and to love beyond,

Like the moon moving in a different phase,

We are looped together in invisible bond,

Of humanity even we’re of different race.
