Covered and Sheltered

The Lord is our Shelter.

It is easy to doubt when waves of problems crash on us. It is easy to worry when darkness looms over us. It is easy to feel afraid when the future is unknown. But there is an assurance given to us in His Word. When we are struck by trouble, we are sheltered by the Most High. We are hidden and covered. To hide us in his shelter and to cover us in his tent means protection. It does not mean that we are not going to feel the storm. It means we will not be harmed by it. We get wet even with umbrella. We feel cold even with the jacket on. In God, we are not excused from troubles and problems. We feel the pain and the hardship, but we are secured and protected in going through all of it. We are lifted up high upon a rock. For the ones who make God their shelter, troubles cannot sink them. They will experience redemption.
