The Answer to Our Needs

God can meet our needs. He is not just able to meet our needs but He is also wiling to supply our needs according to His great wisdom and understanding. He is “able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20). Because of this, we can go to God in prayer, seek Him, and ask His blessings. “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.” – 1 John 5:14-15. He can answer us to guide us to the clear path. He can answer us to point us to the right direction. He can answer us to give us what we need according to what is best for us. Let us then be confident of what God can do. Let us trust Him.

God’s answer is revealed when we call to Him. Who do you call when you encounter a need that is too great for you? Isn’t it that you call someone who is reliable or dependable? Isn’t it that you call someone who can listen to you? Isn’t it that you call someone who is trustworthy? Isn’t it that you call someone who can help you? Isn’t it that you call someone who can comfort you? God is reliable, dependable, trustworthy and more! And He is the One who listens with all ears and with lovingkindness. He is the God of comfort who can comfort the weary heart and mind. He is the sure help in your need. It is God that we need to call. God, speaking through Prophet Jeremiah, said these, “Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it—the Lord is his name: Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” – Jeremiah 33:2-3. God reminded Israel who He is. He is not just any god. He is the Creator of the earth and who formed all things. Why would it be difficult for Him to answer their need? But He asked Israel to call on Him and He promised to answer them and even reveal to them great and hidden things. And even when they call on other gods, God, the LORD, still reaches out to them to heal them, restore them, and help them. God is faithful. He never leaves His people even in their weakness and lack. So call on God in whatever need we have. When He promises to hear our call, He will do it. “God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?” – Numbers 23:19. He is the answer to our needs.

  1. Wow thank you so much
I make sure I seek answers in His word for reference because I’ve failed many times on my own
    I’ve learnt the hard way
