The very words of Jesus is, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. “- Matthew 22:37. That love we have for Him will enable us to abide in Him. And God has a great promise to those who obey Him in love. He promises in the verse, “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” – Psalm 91:14-16. To whom is this promise available? Only to those who hold fast to God in love. It is to those who know Him.
