I’m Known

Jesus Christ knows each of his sheep. It is amazing to know that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the king of Kings, and the Lord of lords, knows each one who follows Him. He knows every little thing. What we do, what we think, and what we feel. He knows every thought that comes to our mind. And as our pastor had said, Jesus knows the number of hairs in our heads (Luke 12:7), He knows how many times we blink in a day, how many times we breathe in and out, what is inside our heart, what our needs are, and what our burdens are. He knows everything about us. And, even when Jesus Christ knows us through and through, He keeps on loving us like a good Shepherd who is gentle, kind, patient, and strong.

We experience rejection in this world. Sometimes, we’re ignored. Some people may not see our worth. But, Jesus Christ does not treat His sheep that way. He loves each one and He knows each one.

Just thinking of this truth makes me feel so loved and joyful. I am known by the Son of God. I am loved by my Abba Father! I am known by the Creator of the heavens and earth.

The true sheep knows the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ says in His Word that He knows His sheep. The question is, who are the sheep of God?

“I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and I’m known by my own.”

– John 10:14 (WEB)

The sheep of God knows the Lord Jesus Christ. And they know the voice of the Lord. They listen to His voice. This is the evidence if a person is God’s sheep or not. He should know Jesus Christ and follow Him as Lord. Anyone who profess to believe in Jesus, but refuses to heed the voice of God, is not the sheep of God.

If we belong to the sheepfold of God, we are in His kingdom. The Lord knows that we are His. In the same manner, we know the Lord Jesus Christ and we entrust our life to Him.

Jesus Christ, as our Good Shepherd, is a faithful and trustworthy God. He cares for our need. Like a shepherd that guards and leads the sheep, Jesus Christ guards us from any harm. He leads us to the path that is safe, righteous, and good.

If you’re unsure whether Jesus is your Shepherd, or not, choose to make Him your Shepherd today. Put your faith and trust in Him and you shall experience His peace, grace, and faithfulness.

If you are the sheep of God, keep walking in the will of God for you. Experience the joy of His presence. Taste His goodness and His faithfulness. He is your Shepherd and you shall not lack (Psalms 23:1).
